Take a Look at the All-New 2019 Ram 1500 | Steve Landers Auto Group

The all-new 2019 Ram 1500 was unveiled last month at the Detroit Auto Show, and Ram fans across the country have been talking about it ever since. This is the biggest update the Ram has seen in a while, and there’s a lot to love about the newest model. If you missed the unveiling, read on for highlights of what we learned about the new beastly Ram truck.

The first thing you’ll notice when you see the new 2019 Ram is the updated exterior design. It offers two different headlight designs, including available LED units that are wide and slim. The front bumper is bold in chrome or paint, with chrome accents that carry over to other elements like the new 1500 badge on the hood of the truck and the border around the windows. The grille design has shifted from the crosshair staple to the RAM grille that was only an available option for previous models. The taillights have also evolved, offering both halogen and LED configurations. The steel rear bumper comes in either chrome or body color, and you have a total of 12 body colors to choose from. Ram drivers will also have a choice of 16 new wheel designs ranging from 18 to 22 inches.

The 2019 Ram 1500 is longer and wider than before, and the bed height has increased as well.  But despite the truck’s growth, it has still lost an incredible 225 pounds, making it altogether more efficient. Ninety-eight percent of the truck’s frame is made out of high-strength steel, and it gained an aluminum hood and tailgate.

The 2019 Ram turns up the volume on practicality and refinement, featuring a massive reconfigurable center console and available 12-inch infotainment screen. The cabin is roomy and comfortable with multiple cup holders and innovative storage solutions sprinkled throughout. It has best-in-class interior storage volume along with best-in-class rear legroom. The best-in-class interior background noise dampening means you can hold a conversation with the backseat passengers and not miss a thing.

Once you get the all-new Ram on the road, it’s a force to be reckoned with. The 2019 truck is more capable and more efficient than any Ram has ever been. It has a maximum payload of 2,300 pounds and a towing capacity of 12,750 pounds. The Rebel model was designed for the ultimate off-roading experience. The Ram Rebel comes equipped with 2 inches of lift for extra ground clearance, new 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires and a new ELocker Electronic Locking Rear Differential. The 4X4 off-road package comes with features like Hill Descent Control, tow hooks and skid plates.

Naturally, the new Ram is also huge on safety. It has more than 100 standard safety and security features including Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Path and Trailer Detection, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go, available Surround View camera and guided parking.
