Dodge Announces 50th Anniversary Edition Challenger

It’s hard to deny that we’re living in the golden era of muscle cars. Sure, designs from the 60’s and 70’s will always have a place in our hearts, but the unmatched power and performance of modern muscle throws us back in our seats and keeps a goofy grin plastered on our faces wherever we’re going.

Shown for the first time at Automobility LA on November 20, the 50th Anniversary Edition Dodge Challenger is certainly a golden goose. What better way to celebrate the golden anniversary than to deck it out in high-impact, Gold Rush paint? Very fitting for the American muscle… very fitting.

Only 70 of the 50th Anniversary Edition Challengers will be produced for the GT/RWD, R/T Shaker, R/T Scat Pack Shaker and R/T Scat Pack Shaker Wideboy trims. It’ll be a gold rush to get these beautiful limited-edition models, but if you’re holding out on the 2020 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat and Hellcat Redeye, you’ll be thrilled to hear that both will feature the 50th Anniversary badging.

The shaker hood scoop is standard on each 50th Anniversary edition trim and will be painted in the same color as the body. Inside you’ll find premium Nappa leather, Alcantara toned amenities with Sepia accent stitching, real carbon fiber accents, a unique gauge cluster and the 50th Anniversary Edition logo throughout the cabin. The Challenger’s instrument panel badge will match the exterior paint and your 50th Anniversary Edition Challenger will feature an identification number to show its exclusivity (ex. ‘x out of 70’).

Thinking that the 50th Anniversary Edition is the Challenger for you? Orders for the limited-run begin in December and Dodge plans on delivering the vehicles in early spring of 2020.
